Benjamin W. Lee

Dr. Benjamin W. Lee was the one of the greatest physicists in last century.
He was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1935. He studied abroad from University
years. He started his study from U. of Miami. He achieved Ph.D at UPenn and
became a prpfessor at Stony Brook, SUNY and U. of Chicago.

His major was 'particle physics' , not nuclear physics. And some rumors that he joined the

atomic bomb making project is , of course, NOT true.

He obviously had objected developement of atomic bomb in Korea and Korea dictatorship at his

time.

He was a just topmost physicist in theoretical particle physics.

He passed away in a unfortunate car accident on their way to Physics Conference in Colorado

in 1977.

On the loss of James Kim

I heard about James Kim's dying far away.

I am so unhappy to hear what happend to him.

That really makes me feel sad. I sympathize with Kim's family.

James Kim is a really courageous husband as well as a father of two daughters.

Like other people, I wished that the rescue team would find him in time.

Here is my condolences on Kim's loss.

He left for letting his family - his wife Kati and their two young daughters - be rescued.

But I believe that definitely he let the rescue team find his lovely family.

You, James Kim, are in my preyers.

May peace be with you in heaven.
